Dermatologic Dermatologic side effects including pruritus, rash, acne, dry skin, and alopecia have been reported infrequently. Proper storage of Remeron: Store Remeron at room temperature, between 68 and 77 degrees F (20 and 25 degrees C). Paroxetine In an in vivo interaction study in healthy, CYP2D6 extensive metabolizer patients (n=24), mirtazapine (30 mg/day), at steady state, did not cause relevant changes in the pharmacokinetics of steady state paroxetine (40 mg/day), a CYP2D6 inhibitor. Do not use mirtazapine if you have taken an MAO inhibitor such as furazolidone (Furoxone), isocarboxazid (Marplan), phenelzine (Nardil), rasagiline (Azilect), selegiline (Eldepryl, Emsam), or tranylcypromine (Parnate) in the last 14 days. Plasma levels are linearly related to dose depression and remeron efficacy a dose range of 15 to 80 mg. Skip the missed dose if it is almost time for your next scheduled dose.
