Hemic and Lymphatic System: rare: lymphadenopathy, leukopenia, petechia, anemia, thrombocytopenia, lymphocytosis, pancytopenia. As serotonin syndrome may result in potentially life-threatening conditions, treatment with Remeron should be discontinued if patients develop a combination of symptoms possibly including hyperthermia, rigidity, myoclonus, autonomic instability with possible rapid fluctuations of vital signs, mental status changes including confusion, irritability, extreme agitation progressing to delirium and coma, and supportive symptomatic treatment should be initiated. Talk to your doctor before using this form of Remeron if you have phenylketonuria (PKU). If getting up slowly thalasemia and remeron help, or if this problem continues, notify your doctor. Do not start a new medication without telling your doctor. If you develop thalasemia and remeron symptoms, a sore throat, chills or fever, mouth sores, or any other signs of infection, call your doctor; these symptoms may signal a serious underlying condition. Sedating drugs may cause confusion and over-sedation in the elderly. Overdosage Any medication taken in excess can have serious consequences.
